| DESCRIPTION:
"New Ride” was created using Poser Pro, Photoshop CS, and a few Photoshop brushes. The character was rendered separately from the car and has different light settings. There were only 3 lights used for the character. Two lights used point light settings and the 3rd light used infinite lighting.
The Soft Glamour effect (Gaussian Blur) was used for the character along with the dodge, burn, and smudge tool. The car required material adjustments for the windshield. This was done by reducing the windshield’s transparency in the Materials Room. A separate light setting was used for rendering the car. The background was made separately by creating a solid color background in Photoshop. Different colored smoke brushes were applied to the black background and the Gaussian blur was used to create a flowing blend of color. The finishing touch for the picture was to merge the layers and go over the entire picture with the burn tool on a low strength setting. This was done to help bring the colors out a little more. The character is a Poser By Design original character. The glasses are were originally made to fit V4, but props like glasses may still be used on almost all models after size adjustments have been made by scaling the prop. |
